Whether it's BBQ season, pizza or a potluck - we love us some company lunches here at 
Ibex. Lately the "on the green" team has been researching alternate options to disposable plates, utensils and the like - and we're happy to say we've placed an order for some biodegradable plates, utensils and cups! Going forward our company lunches will be much more green - in addition to the awesome greenery for salads from our veggie garden.
Ibex moved from the traditional office “water cooler” to a new water filter for our tap. In an effort to reduce our footprint, as well as our electricity bill, we had a water filter from Aquasana installed in the company kitchen. By installing this filter we are able to cut out the transportation and production of the water bottles out of our carbon footprint, cut down our electricity bill and by doing away with the water jugs alone we will save about $1500/year in water costs. So no more water cooler chatter, but instead we can meet by the tap, outdoors at the picnic table or even meet up for a chat and weeding session in the veggie garden.
The season has begun, we planted our seeds and seedlings today!
Thanks to Whit and the On the Green Committee for organizing, weeding and mapping out the garden! Can't wait for some fresh veggies!

Ibex is going to be in Boston the weekend of March 28th, 29th, and 30th. We're excited to be an exhibitor at Down:2:Earth. It's a show for eco-conscious consumers like you out there...an effort to bring together lots of different vendors from clothing (us) to food to transportation options. Looking to show Boston how we combine sustainability with our Ibex style. We're even part of an "Eco-Chic Fashion Show" on Friday night.
So if you are in the Boston area come check us out! We would love to meet some greater Boston Ibex fans!

Ten
+ years ago I visited the same areas and the glaciers were seemingly healthy,
descending to touch the valley floors. It was shocking and sad to see the
emptiness of what once was so immense and powerful.
This
visit to Chamonix gave me a nice jolt
inspiring me to passionately continue on to be responsible for making choices
that positively impact the planet 24/7.
In
addition, I feel lucky to be involved with a company and group of people that
have risen to the challenge of making outdoor clothing responsibly.
The summer tour of California was winding to an end when we hunted down this station for a tank of Bio Willie. What choices! Regular, Super, Premium, Diesel, Ethanol, Natural Gas, Ultra Clean Diesel, Bio-Diesel, and Propane!
Radishes are literally Popping outa the ground! (I planted them a bit too close together). I left a dozen picked in the kitchen. Great for dipping in hummus. I’ll plant another bunch if people like them.
...and driving an old school bus without air conditioning through America's Southwest in the summer, thanking their stars they are wearing Ibex!
