Laurie Greenberg, mother, wife, Ibex personal trainer, and athlete wins the VT 50k ultra marathon yesterday with a time of 4:44, slicing a full hour off her time from the previous year (of course, she had given birth only 4 months earlier last year). Laurie attributes her win to the Ibex Echo wool T-shirt, wool jog bra, and wool underwear she was wearing (she's wearing the wool briefs in the picture) - due out in late Nov.
"I think it was the Merino wool that was regulating my temperature so perfectly that allowed me to run at the ultimate velocity without overheating!" states Greenberg. Her husband also reported that she wasn't stinky at the finish; another attribute of Ibex Merino wool apparel.
Regardless, everyone at Ibex congratulates Laurie on her running success!
