So just when I thought that I have purchased every piece of Ibex that I will
need or want for the next decade, I have to go and look at your spring '08
preview. Oh well, I guess I could be addicted to worse things...
I was
asking you a while back about baby stuff, and you said that you were not doing
anything yet. Well, I know you are doing loden blankets, which I need to just
break down and order one for myself, but it is a bit rough for a baby. Are you
doing some with any softer materials? I have made him one from some Pendleton
fabric I picket up at their outlet, but I would still love to get him something
from you.
You will be happy to know that your wool has stood up to the
test of the San Juan Mountains in the summer. I have been rafting, hiking, and
just living in you stuff most of the summer. Maybe not as much as Kathleen, who
literally is living in wool this summer, but I still love it. I have made my Shak full zip into my uniform top at work, and the general manager loves
it.
Attached is a picture of Kathleen with Everet on her back, rowing the
Colorado river this summer, in wool of course. We did three nights through Ruby
and Horsethief Canyons (class 1), then a quick day through Westwater Canyon
(class 4), which Kathleen and Everet got out and ran shuttle for
us.
Thanks again, and I am now looking forward to my late October canoe
trip through the BWCAW so I can wear multiple layers of amazingly soft wool
again.
