Woodstock, VT, August 2007 – Ibex Outdoor Clothing, LLC, a leading manufacturer of Merino wool outdoor living and performance apparel, announces a new business-to-business (B2B) online ordering system for their network of retail dealers and sales reps in North America and International partners. The new dealer login hub allows dealers and sales reps to view current catalogs, check on the availability of product, place orders, and track and monitor the status of those orders using a comprehensive system that was designed and created by Ibex’s in-house ecommerce team.
“We are proud to have the internal resources that enabled us to build this functionality without having to rely on third party applications,” says Reid Greenberg, Director of Ecommerce at Ibex. “The dealer hub provides our retail partners with an exceptional service to access our products in real time and place ASAP orders that ship typically same-day.”
In speaking with specialty retailers on a daily basis, Founder, CEO, and Colorado rep, John Fernsell felt it was obvious that a common desire was shared; the convenience of 24/7 inventory viewing and order placing. “Although we love the interaction with retailers, sometimes placing an order after business hours on the East Coast is simply inconvenient. We are removing the hurdles of doing business just between the hours of 9-5.”
Ibex reps and dealers are provided with unique user IDs and passwords and can simply log in and place orders for products just as easily as they would on any consumer website. “It’s an extremely intuitive and user-friendly interface,” says Greenberg.
